1st IB History students, together with the prof. Luisa Mamini and Ms. Paola Peracino, are preparing a trip to Krakow from the 13th to the 17th of June. The trip will be the culmination of a series of experiences beginning with a tour of the stumbling blocks in Turin, followed by an encounter at the Salon del Libro. by a survivor of three Nazi concentration camps, Batsheva Dagan. The visit to Auschwitz this summer will be an emotionally significant experience which the students have requested and which they have planned since the beginning of the school year. Students are aware of the importance of the memory and this testimony in our current delicate moment in history.
We are eager to hear their stories when they return, as we are certain of the formative value of this experience.
