Four-year and five-year Linguistic High School Admission Test 2025/2026
Admission tests for Italian high school courses (Liceo quinquennale, Liceo quadriennale), held in January each year, are for orientation rather than selective purposes and are optional. They are nevertheless recommended because they are a tool for highlighting any gaps in preparation, which can be usefully filled in view of the eighth-grade diploma exam, and for identifying learning style and approach to study.
The Italian High School admission tests for the school year 2024/25 are scheduled on the following afternoons:
- Tuesday 14 January 2025 - from 14:30 to 17:30
- Wednesday 15 January 2025 - from 14:30 to 16:30
The tests (written and/or oral) administered are as follows:
- Written test of Italian language (reading comprehension skills; grammatical, syntactic and lexical skills; writing skills).
- Written test of English language (reading comprehension skills, grammatical skills, writing skills);
- Oral test of English language. Test of "Approach to study and learning style" and of "Recognition and valorisation of Multiple Intelligences".
The test is free of charge and the results will be commented on to students and parents who wish to do so by the educational coordinator.
