In the primary classes, the children explored the creative side of Halloween: they recited scary poems, made collages of pumpkins and witches, slime and immersed themselves in many other artistic activities. We then went to the playground for a fun themed snack!
🎃 Halloween at Vittoria Junior: A Chilling Party! 🎃
Last week, Vittoria Junior was transformed into a spooky world for the long-awaited Halloween Party! From toddlers in kindergarten to middle school students, all children and teachers created an unforgettable event by dressing up and participating in themed activities. An atmosphere of mystery and fun enveloped the corridors and classrooms, involving everyone in a magical and slightly scary experience!
Childhood activities
In kindergarten, we played fine motor skills games, the witch competition with brooms, the scary story about the witch cooking the pumpkin, dances and various games.
Costume Contest
The real challenge took place in middle school, where the Costume Contest involved the four houses of the Victory House Cup in a last-ditch competition! The boys competed for prizes in the various categories, demonstrating skill, creativity and great team spirit.
Costume Contest Rules
Each participant had to abide by simple rules to ensure that everyone could have fun in a safe and respectful manner:
- Homemade Costumes: All costumes had to be made with the ingenuity of the children and families, emphasising creativity, DIY and sustainability.
- No Blood and Gore: Costumes had to be scary, yes, but without excess! This was to keep the atmosphere light and fun.
- Appropriate School Clothing: Even in disguise, the school environment had to be respected.

Judges and categories
Judging the event were a few older comrades from Vittoria High School, who took their role very seriously, evaluating each costume carefully and awarding prizes in the following categories:
- Scariest
- Funniest
- Original
- Creative
- Best
The winner
It really wasn't easy to award the final prize, but after much deliberation our judges elected the best costume of the year: The Man Who Lost His Mind, by Kimi Z. of the Corvus house! A really creative and scary stunt, made out of a coat of his father's and other objects found in the house. Congratulations Kimi!
The party was a success, giving everyone a morning of laughter and fun, and consolidating the spirit of belonging to the Vittoria Junior community. Halloween proved to be a special occasion to celebrate together, express one's personality and discover the talents hidden in the corridors of our school.
