UPPER SECONDARY INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

Cerimonia di consegna del Premio Internazionale Duca di Edimburgo 2025

Once again this year we celebrated the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award in style, in collaboration with Rachel's Learning Centre.

In the prestigious venue of the Unione Industriale di Torino, we applauded our classmates who successfully passed the Bronze, Silver and Gold levels.

Gold Award

Last summer, 11 students did the Gold Level Residential Activity in Zanzibar with 'Paint a Dream', Hetty Vanderlinden's project that helps children around the world realise their dreams. Among many activities, our young people supported students at a local school and guests at a centre for the disabled. We talked about them in this article. Present were Pietro M. and Margherita N., who reported on their exciting experience!

Bronze & Silver

It was then the turn to present the certificates to the students who had passed the Bronze and Silver levels.
The president of the Industrial Union gave a touching speech, highlighting the importance of personal skills to succeed in life. He then read out a deserving action that had been performed by each participant over the past few months: someone who helped a fellow student with their studies, someone who played the violin in church every Sunday, someone who taught a foreign language to a peer, etc. etc.

Adventure Journey

Finally, each student read a sentence about the experience, recounting the difficulties and joys of the journey, including the adventure journey they took last summer. If you want to know more, we talked about it in this article.

Congratulations to all our students who overcame this challenge and showed exemplary commitment. Your journey shows commitment, team spirit and determination to excel in various aspects of life!
