Last week, 20 students from the Vittoria International School MUN Club (a mixed group of 1ICE and 2ICE) travelled to Frankfurt to attend the MainMUN conference, an international Model United Nations event that brought together students from all over the world.
The conference officially kicked off with agenda-setting and opening speeches, laying the groundwork for the subsequent debates.
Delegates engaged in lobbying, forming alliances and presenting ideas to solve global problems. The Human Rights Committee was particularly active, with speeches and discussions on issues of international relevance.
An intensive day of committee sessions, meetings with students of different nationalities and networking.
The evening ended with a special moment for Alice's birthday, celebrated with a dinner in a traditional German Gasthaus.
The conference ended with a closing ceremony, giving the students an opportunity to reflect on the experience before returning to Italy.
This trip was a valuable educational experience, allowing the students to improve their public speaking, negotiation and diplomacy skills while immersing themselves in an international context. Congratulations to all our delegates for representing VIS with passion and professionalism! 🌍✨
