Liberi di… Liberi da…

The project 'Liberi di... Liberi da...', a course on preventing and combating bullying and cyberbullying aimed at primary school classes 4A and 4B and lower secondary classes 2A and 2B, has come to an end.

The project, promoted by the Piedmont Region and implemented by the STP Centre with the support of Dr. Sonia Di Pietro (psychotherapist) and Dr. Giulia Garaffo (nutritionist), involved students, teachers and parents in an articulated and engaging programme aimed at promoting wellbeing, awareness and respect.

👦👧 Activities with students

The course for the students consisted of six meetings, four in the classroom and two in the gymnasium:

  • Bullying and cyberbullying: knowing to protect yourself - What bullying is, how to recognise it and deal with it.
  • Biology and emotions - Knowing the body and emotions to learn how to manage them.
  • Empathy and prosociality - The importance of respect, listening and inclusion.
  • Cyber-ethics - Using technology consciously and responsibly.

👩‍🏫 Meetings with teachers

The teaching staff also participated in training events, dedicated to

  • Understanding the phenomena of bullying and the school's duties
  • Intervention strategies and dialogue with students and families
  • Promoting empathy and cooperation within the class group

👨‍👩‍👧 Meeting with parents

The course concluded with a meeting for families on 'sensitive discipline', managing emotions and preventing online risks, with the aim of strengthening school-family collaboration.

💬 A project full of stimuli and tools, to build together a more serene, aware and respectful school environment, where every student can feel free to be themselves and protected from all forms of prevarication.
