The Alternative Week at the European High School

Liceo Europeo's Alternative Week came to an end, an opportunity for students to experience a different approach to learning, alternating remedial and in-depth lessons with experiential projects and activities aimed at developing soft skills.

Experiences and workshops for the two-year old

For younger students, the focus was on workshop activities and projects combining Science, Technology, Art and Mathematics (STAM). There were also affectivity and health education courses, in collaboration with developmental psychology experts, and workshops on environmental sustainability and local knowledge.

The older students took part in meetings dedicated to university and vocational orientation, PCTO (Percorsi per le Competenze Trasversali e l'Orientamento) and specific training on proper nutrition, carried out in cooperation with the University of Turin.

A particularly significant moment was the study trip to Varese, where the students visited the JRC - European Commission Research Centre, an opportunity to explore the world of scientific research under the guidance of experts in the field.

The programme also included a film forum and meetings on civic education, with input from external professionals.

It was a rich and stimulating experience that combined education, discovery and personal growth, reinforcing the value of a dynamic and interdisciplinary education. 🚀📚
