From the study of the foundations of the universe to the frontiers of artificial intelligence
We came back enthusiastically from the experience promoted by the Luigi Lagrange School of Scientific Education, in collaboration with the Departments of Mathematics and Physics of the University of Turin, recount Federica Dolza 5 D,Francesca Gusman 5 D, Arina Iusin 4A, Eugenia Mainardi 5D: three intense days of work and study, from 3 to 5 May, guided by university lecturers and researchers through the fascinating challenges and discoveries in the field of Mathematics and contemporary Physics.
The Physics courses offered insights into fundamental topics such as the principles behind Einstein's relativity, population dynamics and the study of cosmic radiation, and the Mathematics courses ranged from artificial intelligence to fractals, also providing an interesting introduction to Celestial Mechanics.
We also attended highly engaging seminars such as "From Growth Models to Cancer Therapies", "Beyond the Third Dimension" and "At the Edge of Reality", the concluding conference "Curvature, Space and the Universe" and a guided tour of the Department's Museum of Scientific Instruments.
We also met students from all over Italy, who are as passionate about scientific disciplines as we are. A truly unforgettable experience!
